What is the Mont Synthesis Porcelain Shower System?

The new cutting edge porcelain shower system to reshape the remodeling process!

Mont Synthesis is a new cutting edge modular shower system that give the high-end look of large format porcelain, without the pains of complex, time-consuming installation. The porcelain slabs come pre-mounted on backer board. This backer board has clips that are preinstalled, which then clip into a rail system that is mounted between the studs. This new process shaves a significant amount of time off the installation, allowing the porcelain to be hung and ready to use the next day.

Currently, there are 14 different colors and patterns to choose from. With a wide range of options, you're sure to find something that fits your aesthetic. These different colors can be seen at Mont Surfaces' show rooms.

The shower system cost is comparable to a tile shower, but with a fraction of the downtime. The materials themselves are more expensive than average tile, but the labor cost is significantly reduced.

• Can still have accessories like a niche and wall mounted bench

• Easily remove and replace whole panel to access plumbing

Cons

• System is more expensive than glue-up or acrylic options
• Not currently available for larger than 60"x36" showers
• Steam shower options and matching curb still in R&D
