At Adonis Kitchen & Bath, we understand that deciding to remodel your bathroom isn’t always fast or easy. For many homeowners, it’s a process—one that starts with a vision, takes time to refine, and eventually becomes a reality.
This was exactly the case for Kristin and her husband, homeowners in Uniontown, Ohio, who first reached out to us in April of 2021. They were interested in remodeling their primary bathroom but weren’t quite ready to move forward at the time. It wasn’t until three years later that they felt confident taking the next step—and when they did, the result was nothing short of a masterpiece.

This client’s journey is proof that taking your time doesn’t mean compromising your dream. Whether it’s three weeks or three years, we’re here to walk with you every step of the way.
I reached back out to her in 2024, to ask how the project turned out I do that from time to time and hear all sorts of things, from “the project’s been canceled” to “the project came out perfect” and, on one occasion, even “the project went so bad, I no longer have kids” (that one is a different story)
With Kristin, we found ourselves at the beginning of the project revisiting process.
By the end of our phone call, both of us decided the most obvious next step was for us to come back out and take another look at the bathroom
This time, we all had a lot more fresh ideas for the space
We discussed options and went over pricing
Then they made a major decision, many years in the making, and they took the leap
The result? One of our most memorable bathroom remodels ever

Even though the design phase took time, every decision was made with intention.
At first, the plan called for luxury vinyl plank flooring for its durability and warmth. But sometimes, perfection isn’t fully clear until you see the materials in action. After seeing how the bathroom was coming together, the client made an excellent call to upgrade to polished porcelain tile that completely transformed the look and feel of the space. It was a late-stage change—but it was exactly the right one.
This flexibility is a big part of why our remodels feel so tailored. We know that design evolves, and we create room for those “aha” moments along the way.

One of the most unique aspects of this remodel was the homeowner’s preference for a particular large jetted bathtub—a bold and distinctive choice that became a true focal point of the space. Positioned across from a wall-mounted television, it created a spa-like retreat perfect for unwinding.
To balance the crisp white elements throughout the room, our designer, Sean, introduced a bump-out accent wall in a rich, dark hue. This striking feature didn’t just add contrast and depth—it served a highly functional purpose. Behind it, we housed the plumbing for two wall-mounted faucets above the double vanity. This allowed us to avoid running plumbing through the exterior wall, giving the client the sleek look they wanted without compromising on practicality.
